Rev. Nicholas Tai

Rev. Nicholas Ho Fai Tai graduated from the Lutheran Theological Seminary in 1979. He served as Senior Preacher at The Kwai Shing Missionary. In 1985, then became Pastor when The ELCHK Kwai Yan Lutheran Church was established. In 1987, he was selected by ELCHK and Lutheran Theological Seminary as reserve professor. He studied Doctor of Theology at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München in Germany. While in Germany, he did not forget to preach the gospel, and founded Evangelische Chinesische Gemeinde in München.

Rev. Tai obtained PhD in Theology majoring in the Old Testament in 1993. Since then he has been teaching in Lutheran Theological Seminary.

Rev. Tai served in church and society for many years, including Bishop of ELCHK, Chairperson of Hong Kong Christian Council, Director of Chung Chi College CUHK, Director of Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital.

Rev. Tai and his wife have two daughters. The elder daughter is married and is living in Germany for medical research. The younger one works in Hong Kong.

Rev. Tai written books over the years, including Introduction To Wisdom Literature, Teaching of Love, Rescue of Love, Promise of Promise, New Creation, Source of Hope.

Founding and Consulting Pastor – Richmond Hill Christian Community Church (RHCCC), Canada.

Rev. Chan has served at the ACEM churches in Canada for over 36 years.  From 1985 to 2018, he served as the Senior Pastor of RHCCC. Under his leadership with the pastoral team and church leaders, RHCCC has developed into a Purpose-driven, Multi-cultural, Multi-lingual and Multi-generational (3M) Missional church and continues church planting work. He is now the founding and consulting pastor of RHCCC.

In addition to his pastoral ministry, Rev. Chan is an Adjunct Professor at Tyndale University & Seminary. He is also a Board member of Global Great Commission Centre and EQUIP Leadership Canada. For many years, he participated in student ministry and overseas mission.

Rev. Chan and his wife, Pastor Yvonne, serve the Lord together.  They have three children and one grandson.

Dr. Bryan Chapell, Ph.D. is Senior Pastor of the historic Grace Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Peoria, IL and he is also President Emeritus of Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri.

Dr. Chapell has a Bachelor of Journalism from Northwestern University, a Master of Divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary, and a PhD in speech communication from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.

His preaching and teaching are broadcast in many nations and are also available at www.UnlimitedGrace.com. He is the author of many books, including Unlimited Grace, Each for the Other, Holiness by Grace, Praying Backwards, The Gospel According to Daniel, The Hardest Sermons You’ll Ever Have to Preach, and Christ-Centered Preaching, a preaching textbook now in multiple editions and many languages that has established him as one of this generation’s foremost teachers of homiletics.

He and his wife, Kathy, have four adult children, a growing number of grandchildren, and they enjoy the blessings of many friends, fishing and faith.
